Bembo Type Specimen & Poster

Students were given an iconic typeface to research and produce a poster and specimen that showcased the letterforms. Since most of my research was historical in the humanist period of Italy, I chose to take the specimen into more of a textbook approach.
Learning Outcomes:
With this project, I focused on letting the heavy initial research guide my design decisions. One challenge was with so much context and past/current use, I added extra pages to the booklet in order to show everything I had learned about Bembo.
