This project was interesting because we had so much freedom in developing the identity for any nonprofit, rather than being given a company. For the first half of the term, we did weekly logo ideations using a prompt and picked the most successful one to build an identity from. I picked a community organization for a city that starts with “h” since the initial sketch looked like two people reaching towards each other.
Learning Outcomes:
I focused on tapping into the potential of the “H” people and how far I could stretch its meaning by building characters from it. The character work was a challenge since I don’t normally use illustrations in my work.
