Univers Sections: Final Book

Each week, students were given a specific set of instructions and parameters to create magazine covers for Contemporary Architecture. I’ve selected arrangements from a few of the sections that are the most successful. The dividers of the book are based off of zoom’s interface in the way they light up and fade out since this term was spent on zoom ironically.
Learning Outcomes:
Having to work with so many restraints and then gradually being able to use more variables pushed my understanding of how to really work with type based arrangements. I refined my previous type skills and also learned about the history of Univers as well as other typefaces.
