Set in a candy-and-sweets world, a mysterious but notorious Bounty Hunter enters the roughest bar in the land with one goal: capture the Gingerbread Man, DEAD or ALIVE.
Process:
This short was part of a three-person group project for Shorts 1 (Fall 2024) and Shorts 2 (Spring 2025). I was the executive producer but the story was pitched by me. My team and I also played the additional roles of storyboarding, animation and visual development (I was responsible for character design).
Learning Outcomes:
Since this was my first collaborative project for animation, my biggest learning curves were being a producer and finalizing an animation. I was already skilled with scheduling and organization but using a professional chart for animation on Google Sheets was new to me. For animation, this short taught me how to cleanup and color an animation in ToonBoom Harmony.
