Founded in 1887, the Newberry Library stands as a vital center for the preservation and exploration of the written word. To honor its role as a guardian of language, translation, and cultural memory, this project reimagines the library’s identity through the lens of reading rhythm and the structure of knowledge. Drawing inspiration from a spatialized punctuation system, the design reflects the pauses, flows, and movements of thought.
