Moonlight

Chiron struggles with his identity growing up, not sure whether he should be himself or take on a hypermasculine personality. However, his sensitive side is ultimately revealed at the end. Using colored plastic bags, I visualize the turbulent stages of Chiron's identity development. The first stage represents curiosity (yellow), then struggle (red), and then acceptance (blue). The plastic bag wrinkles reflect the turbulence in Chiron’s life, the middle stage being the most turbulent.
