Cinema poster/brochure

I did this poster in my third term. We chose a film genre or subject, and film must appear in two colors, 22''X33''poster(vertical), and 5''X11"brochure(vertical), use only 2 typefaces max. I find a brief synopsis of each film. Also I find ten crime films and 10 directors. The background is from Hitchcock's film, and I choose Druk and Akdenzi Grotesk as my two typefaces.
Learning Outcomes:
It's my first time to design a film genre poster and brochure also. I chose criminal films which I'm interested in. Stretching condensed type is my first idea, and I finally stick to my favorite concept. I think that will convey a tense feeling to people, but it's not easy, I test many times and really learned a lot how to make type embrace background image. Also this greenish yellow I picked I think works pretty well. Lastly, I digested hierarchy and sequence more through this project.
