Brutal: Confessions of a Homicide Investigator

Adapting a manga by Kei Koga and Ryou Izawa, where Hiroki Dan, a young detective, is secretly a vigilante killer seeking revenge on those who escaped justice. The manga, a prequel to Kei’s earlier series, delves into true crime narratives and ethical discussions, uncovering complex stories around unsolved cases and criminals. Using 3D rendering, I aim to honour the creators’ vision while adding my design sensibilities.
