Kounkuey Design Initiative Internship

This is best viewed on my website. All content in this project was created by myself. During the Summer of 2022, I was fortunate to have an internship with Kounkuey Design Initiative (KDI) in Downtown Los Angeles. KDI brought me on the team as a Graphic Design Intern to enhance their identity. KDI had a logo which I wasn't to change, but the identity rules were lax. During my internship I gave KDI a new stronger identity and concluded my internship with a new company style guide.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how to become a professional Graphic Designer. While my education at ArtCenter prepared me tremendously for this position, there's still nothing quite like actually working for an organization. I learned how to present myself as a professional, work with multiple parties, and present my work to coworkers and higher-ups.
