Los Angeles Signage Prints

Various linocut prints of signage around Los Angeles. This was a personal project during the Summer of 2022 focusing on the loud, noisy, ugly, fascinating, but beautiful signage in the city I find myself in. Compositions are crammed with information just like how strip mall signs cram everything into one uncomfortable facade.

Learning Outcomes:

I learned an appreciation for hand drawn typography and the art of print making in general. I had a great time playing with extremist and maximalist compositions.
