"Bird of Paradise" Official Movie Poster

This was the most collaborative client project that I have ever worked on. I have been working as a freelance designer for several years, but often find that my clients typically tell me to take their ideas and run, so I have rarely had the opportunity to collaborate with my client. Because my client is an artist himself (director of the film), I felt that the process was more of a dialogue about his work and what the poster should be, rather than just him telling me what to do or vice-versa.
