FA 23: Personal Brand Identity Development
In order to prepare the job search, I have developed a personal brand identity so that my professional materials are cohesive. This personal logo, made of my initials, is simple and geometric, and is meant to be abstract enough to create intrigue but not confusion. The counter of the "b" breaks the circle that the "ob" are set on to represent my desire to push boundaries and break barriers through my work.
Learning Outcomes:
I have not created a personal logo for some time, so updating my brand identity was a great way for me to re-examine my own practices and goals as a designer. In the past, I used a mid-century modern inspired logo that has become outdated in regards to my diverse body of work. This exercise helped me to understand how to represent myself and my work in a more abstract and holistic way.
