The Wind Pilot is a specialized professional responsible for operating the Wind Seeker and capturing precise atmospheric parameters in real time. Their work takes place outdoors at extreme altitudes, where they endure harsh weather, intense sunlight, and low oxygen levels. Their attire is therefore essential for survival: a thick, insulated hat with a wide brim protects against cold and glare, while a lightweight portable oxygen tank ensures continuous O₂ supply. A set of bow-ties tied on the suit responds to shifting currents, giving the pilot a clear visual reading of wind direction as they navigate the skies.
The Balloon Tailor is the community’s essential repair specialist, responsible for mending damage to the fabric of balloon vehicles. To increase their carrying capacity, they wear a mobile rack structure that moves with them as they walk, allowing them to transport large rolls of replacement fabric. Thick white binding cords hang from their suit, ready for securing repaired sections. Because their work is performed outdoors at high altitudes, they are equipped with snow goggles for glare protection and a portable oxygen tank to ensure safe breathing in thin air.
Bird man is an honored profession among balloon community, they are in charger of tele communication between balloons much like the function of telephone in the old world.
