James Dean Wordmark

For this project we had to choose an episode/person from the PBS video series: Modern Masters and illustrate their name utilizing type, creating a wordmark. My choice for it was James Dean, the famous actor from the 50s. This is a ongoing project.
Learning Outcomes:
The biggest lesson from this project so far is how important content research is and how to add that to the final project, while optimizing the process of said research. Also, its a great showcase of ideal design process since we were required to follow all the steps of it (content overview, reference research, thumbnails done by hand, rough, digital contents and revisions) before reaching the final wordmark.
