Sci-Fi LA | Brochure and Poster

This was a 5-weeks project, where the goal was to design a poster that could also work as a brochure for a fictional Sci-Fi event. For that, I chose the movie Tron for my imagery. As limitation, we had the specific format and were only allowed to use 2 colors.
Learning Outcomes:
With this project, I was able to improve my layout abilities, exploring with type that had to work in two very different formats. It was a nice challenge to understand better what information needed to be seen when the poster was far and also still works when looked up close in the brochure. Making the images and the long descriptions (which I made long as an extra challenge for myself) work and look interesting in the poster, while still readable in the brochure, was an enjoyable process.
