Crimson Blossom

Based in the 1990s, our main character Vivienne finds herself with a haunted PC-98 Visual Novel from the 80s after it mysteriously appears in the Library she works at. Stuck in this world, she teams up with the only other person who hasn't turned into a flesh-monster, Joben. They fight their way through this Japanese High School setting while also trying to figure out the mystery of this corruption, and also how to get Vivienne back to her world.
Learning Outcomes:
A lot of thought was put into not just the story of the project, but revisions with the story beat compositions to best fit the narrative and especially mood of the scene. I learned a lot about really refining composition when it comes down to the smaller details. How to evoke a mood or feeling from the audience while still trying to convey your story point, and how to meld the two together in a still frame.
