iCAR Let's Travel Together

This project imagines a new type of mobility service that could emerge once autonomous driving becomes fully integrated into everyday life. I believe autonomous vehicles can offer far more than point-to-point transportation; they can become platforms for curated experiences, personal exploration, and meaningful human connection.

Inspired by the film Before Sunrise, this concept envisions an autonomous vehicle designed specifically for a one-day shared journey between two strangers. Through a thoughtfully arranged itinerary, the service creates opportunities for them to discover each other’s personalities, interests, and stories in a natural, unforced way. They may find that similar interests don’t necessarily lead to mutual attraction; they may simply enjoy the day as companions, become friends, or even develop a romantic connection. All of these outcomes are possible within the unique environment of this one-day travel experience.
