Polestar Flow

Polestar Flow is a Scandinavian lifestyle-inspired electric hydrofoil dayboat redefining modern coastal adventure. This project leverages EV vessel innovation to create new user experience opportunities. The vehicle is a hydrofoil to maximize range and reduce the size of the battery. The hydrofoil mode delivers on the Polestar performance that EV owners crave. The deck is designed to make every outing a seamless adventure. 

Process:

This project is inspired by my experiences boating in Montana. I wanted to create a product to improve the experiences that my family has with our bowrider. I did a VR scan of the deck to benchmark my capstone project. Then I went to pencil sketches to ideate layout ideas, innovation opportunities, and design themes. I developed these ideas in Photoshop and then brought them to Gravity Sketch VR. The end model was finished and rendered in Blender.
