This collaborative project focused on reimagining the characters from Little Shop of Horrors through a contemporary lens. Working as a team, we explored how visual design could reinterpret personality, relationships, and tone while still staying true to the core of the original story. Each character was redesigned with attention to silhouette, costume, and body language, allowing us to push distinct identities while maintaining a cohesive world across the group.
We were assigned Little Shop of Horrors and instructed to avoid watching the musical, instead basing our designs solely on the songs. We began by interpreting character personalities, tone, and relationships through audio, then aligned as a group on a shared visual direction. Through iterative sketching, I explored silhouette, costume, and shape language to develop each character, refining the designs through group feedback to ensure both individuality and cohesion.
