FOCUS

FOCUS is an AI-powered navigation app that actively reduces stress and enhances safety by monitoring your breathing patterns while you drive. By analyzing your mental workload and fatigue levels through sound sensors, FOCUS provides personalized route recommendations based on road visuals and geometry to optimize your navigation experience. FOCUS tailors its approach to your individual breathing patterns, resulting in a safer and more enjoyable journey.
Learning Outcomes:
During the 14-week research phase of this project, I was involved in training machine learning models by inputting extensive datasets, including text, images, sound, and video. This hands-on experience allowed me to gain a deep understanding of how Artificial Intelligence functions, which in turn, equipped me with the mindset to comprehend the capabilities and work modes of AI. It also enabled me to explore the possibilities and envision future applications as a designer.
