China;Town

"China;Town" is a photo book about San Fransisco Chinatown. I designed two different reading orders for this book- from the back or the front. Based on the readers’ native language, they will read from the right or the left. Behind these photos, the hidden texts reveal the misconceptions ab the souvenirs and items in Chinatown. The Chinese descriptions don't always match the photos- some of them are direct translations from the dictionary.
Learning Outcomes:
I have done more research on book design. The book style is orihon, which originated from the Tang dynasty.
