Female Iconography

I created these paintings during my fourth year for my advanced painting class at UC Irvine. I created this series as an homage to a few of my favorite female icons. Ones who have inspired me to keep true to myself. I painted Arca, Sophie and Grimes. All three are female musicians who I look up to. I created the paintings by first laying out the compositions in Photoshop before connecting my laptop to a projector and displaying the images on canvases and painted away.
