For the Great Writer Series magazine, I chose the science fiction novelist Bernard Werber. I wanted to describe his massive imagination through the cover page. I used blurred types on the cover to deliver a mysterious feeling. The purpose of this project is to design an eight-page text-heavy magazine in black and white. I tried to keep the consistency in this magazine design by using black bars under the subtitles and captions, and placing horizontal shape images.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned the structure of the magazine layout and how to place the context with types throughout the work process. I tried to make a fluency from the cover to the last page so that readers can easily look through my magazine.
