The Silence of Human Senses

The pandemic has shifted our daily lives, and the function of our vision, hearing, smell, touch, and taste has changed or been damaged. After COVID, we have come to think again about our five senses that we have not paid much attention to.  The project explores how COVID has brought about our sensory revolution and how we can be aware of and appreciate our five senses through an editorial design and a hypothetical exhibition.

The book unfolds the emptiness that envelopes our senses through a collection of photographs taken during the pandemic. Since it was the moment when our five senses disappeared, the title reflects the profound absence and the rediscovery of our sensory experiences.
