Are you ready to enjoy?
This 40" x 30" oil painting depicts the attractions of the Street section. People and animals are falling down the Switch Drop, while cats run across ton he Fan. None of the visitors notice that their accessories are melting in the wind! In the foreground, people are riding the most thrilling attraction, the Box Coaster! They are enjoying it at a maximum speed of 45 miles per hour. You should try the Lamp Swing in the background! Warm and chill, isn't it great?
In the end, visitors and attractions are all mixed together. Ride, run, and spin! That's why the colors of the four attractions mix with each other.
Process:
I started with a simple sketch on a 30" x 40" canvas. Then, I selected the main color of each attraction: red, yellow, blue, and green. Each attraction has a shadow of the next attraction's color. For example, the yellow Box Coaster has a green shadow of the Lamp Swing's main color. Finally, I added visitors and dripped paint on them to show that they were riding the attractions at high speeds.
