OCMA

The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) in Costa Mesa, California, is rebranded to emphasize openness and accessibility. The new logo draws from the building’s square architecture and fluid exhibition spaces, while the warm color palette reflects Orange County’s coastline and the museum’s inviting atmosphere. Applying a consistent grid system across posters and materials ensures visual cohesion, showing how a museum’s identity can extend beyond its logo into a unified, immersive experience.

Learning Outcomes:

Through this project, I learned that a museum’s identity extends far beyond its logo and can be expressed as a unified, immersive experience through consistent visual systems, spatial thinking, and cohesive storytelling.
