cooc aims to evoke feminine and masculine nuances. Fabric sculptures, crafted from men’s shirts, defy categorization, resembling diaper, cone, collar. Whole objects like fish lure and keys offer clarity amidst ambiguity. A fabric pouch, inspired by both scrotum and baby bump, invites the audience to tactile engagement and dance. Audience is prompted to question language of objects, disassemble, and reassemble associations, unsettling perceptions.
