gen is a collection of ceramic sculptures made using the process of slip-casting, with the interest of referencing it as a process of mass production. The slipcast produces off-white, minimalist ceramics the approximate size of a monster energy drink and is formally evocative of shake weights or Christmas crackers. These casts are all at different levels of finish with the hopes to reflect on the framework of commercial, automated labor.
