Create, Innovate, Explore

This project is made to inspire and remind artists that they don't have to do everything digitally. Stepping out of the digital world and painting or collaging like artists used to can be an enlightening experience. To create this project, I filmed all the footage of me painting/collaging and I even tore up paper, cut out all the letters myself, and scanned them to create this motion piece. It reminds artists to look back at the masters they've studied and use them as inspiration in the present.
Learning Outcomes:
Sometimes you aren't confident or excited with an idea you come up with but it still can be successful. When this project was assigned I had no idea what to do because I was given complete freedom to create a creative piece that you would see in an art museum. I learned the importance of having things moving at all times. It keeps the viewer engaged and makes the piece feel more alive and less static. I also learned how hard it is to communicate a complex message in only 30 seconds.
