Discipline and Logic

This is a series of spreads for an article on Massimo Vignelli. We were given an article and only 3 spreads to work with. With this, we created a baseline grid and a typographic system that we would use throughout the spreads.
Learning Outcomes:
From this project, I learned a lot about layout and how difficult it really is to create a successful layout for magazine spreads. At first glance, it looked simple but after trying to do it myself, I realized how complex it is to make a layout that uses all of the text and images in a uniform manner. I also learned how important consistency is throughout layouts and how to achieve that using InDesign.
