Paris 23 Type Conference

This is a logo and identity system that I created for the Paris 2023 Typographic Conference. I created a heart with the S and 2 in the logo. It is meant to be more of a subtle detail that you see after you read PARIS23. I also created a pattern out of the heart shape to reference a Parisian pattern and connected the pattern from poster to poster.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned how hard it is to work with such an iconic shape, such as a heart. In order to work around this, I created a less traditional heart, but creating a unique and interesting pattern out of the shape was much harder than I expected. I also learned how to create a system for my logo that can be used across multiple items, such as a tote bag or tickets for the event.
