So Much and Enough Teaser

This teaser sequence is created for an episode of the Moth's podcast, titled "So Much and Enough." My sequence is about the convergence of two lives, inspired by the unpredictable nature of human connections. Anais, raised as an only child in Paris, stumbles upon the revelation that she has a twin sister, Sam, who is an actress in LA. Using collage as a visual medium, the fragments of their lives are dynamically drawn toward each other. As they unite, their lives attain a sense of completeness.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned a lot about storytelling in a sequence and how to create movement, even in a static frame. This project also taught me about setting a scene and directing the eye in subtle ways, such as utilizing light or typography. I also learned how to create a seamless transition between something created analog and combining it with the digital aspects, since the pieces of paper were all cut and scanned by hand.

The sequence is created using scanned pieces of paper that represent both Anais and Sam's lives.
