Sustainable Shipping Solutions

For this project, I identified three major global companies that utilize shipping and logistics: SpaceX (space logistics), Amazon (full-stack business), and Maersk (leader in container shipping). I explored innovative cost-saving solutions that enhance sustainability in their operations and integrated an AI companion into my research workflow, using Poe for projection calculations.
Learning Outcomes:
From this project, I learned that evaluating long-term financial opportunities for companies involves considering many factors. As I explored sustainable options, I uncovered several compounding issues, such as how the rising cost of fuel is influenced by population demand and the scarcity of finite resources. These factors can significantly drive up prices in the next decade, often offsetting the initial high costs of transitioning to sustainable solutions.
