Adagio for Stars

This project was made to accompany the New York Times Article: "Webb Telescope Spots a Distant Spiral Galaxy Like Our Own" by Dennis Overbye. A galaxy similar to our home has been found very far away. To convey this, I chose to work using the motif of a star map as if space was on an illustrative grid, its lines drawing themselves onto a canvas. Accompanying the animation is my composed piano and synth version of "Adagio For Strings", a classical song meant to provoke a vast and empty feeling.
