URGE

URGE is the second solo exhibition by the artist Val Hobbs, comprised of works made using generational methods of sewing that were passed down and improvised upon by the artist to create an entirely unique mode of creative expression. Both universal and deeply personal, Hobbs uses their own experiences with trauma and scars as direct inspiration for some of the imagery depicted.
