Coaniquem Concepcion Casabierta

This project was a collaboration between Designmatters and Coaniquem, a Chilean NGO dedicated to serving children who are victims of burn injuries. Our assignment was to design and develop a "casabierta" or dormitory rooms for their clinic in Conception. The Casabierta was intended to be temporary, modular, and sustainable, while meeting the specific needs of the patients and integrating the healing tree story previously developed through collaborations between Artcenter and Coaniquem.
