This blind box collection transforms the act of collecting into a sensory experience of discovery. By pairing a curated color palette with the intricate forms of traditional craft, each star charm becomes a personal reflection of the collector’s energy. The project explores the intersection of playful nostalgia and timeless wisdom, sparking a connection between the holder and the magic within the mundane.
The development of Stari was driven by the rising cultural phenomenon of blind boxes, a trend where the thrill of the "surprise" collectible has become a staple of Gen Z and Gen Alpha consumer culture.
My focus was on the visual storytelling—crafting a brand voice and color theory that elevated these surprise items from mere trinkets into meaningful "modern talismans." Through intentional photography, motion editing, and copy, I framed the chance-based excitement of the unboxing experience as a moment of synchronicity and discovery.
By blending the playfulness of a lottery with the sophistication of ancient symbolism, we created a brand that resonates with the modern desire for connection and collective wonder.
