The Anti-subservience Effect

As an international student, my perspective is informed by anxiety. Particularly from the trauma of transitioning from Chinese Monoculture to US multicultural-ISM and needing to develop, quickly, new way of cultural thinking based in reflection and contradiction in direct opposition to how I was raised. I call this the anti-subservience effect.
Learning Outcomes:
To understand this effect, we must consider how subjugation is manifested in today's graphic design. My struggle allowed me to do this by deconstructing my self-identity forcing me to reorganize the decentralized cultural forms of my field of expertise. The conclusion I got from this is that graphic design is creating mass cultural anxiety.
