HolidayCard 2024: Berry sweet holidays!

Have a berry sweet holiday!
I created a holiday card during my fall 2024 internship at Imaginary Forces.

Inspired by the strawberry gnomes I once made with my family,
I developed an animated holiday card during my internship at Imaginary Forces.
The project became a playful blend of festive storytelling, illustration, and 3D animation.
Process:
Because this project was meant to capture the warmth and nostalgic charm of the holiday season, I built the narrative from
a personal memory that audiences could relate to. This direction led to the challenge of balancing realistic, but handmade
textures with the warm, illustrated aesthetic needed to preserve the project’s cozy, storybook feel.
Learning Outcomes:
To resolve the challenge of balancing realism with an illustrated feel, I used a high camera depth of field, soft warm lighting,
intentional mood shifts, and detailed sound design—allowing the tactile textures to coexist with a cozy, whimsical,
storybook-like atmosphere.
