Escape^Forest

This is an unconventional tower defense game inspired by the roguelike game Loop Hero. In the game, players will help RED (Little Red Riding Hood), who has lost her memory, recall the exit from the seemingly endless forest.

As RED traverses the forest tiles, she will recall other tiles in the forest (gaining tile cards). Players need to place these tiles in the scene to help RED remember what each location in the forest is (Ah-ha! I remember now, this is a cave!). RED will also automatically collect resources as she moves across the tiles.

The forest is also full of dangers. RED's random movements in the forest awaken shapeshifters – creatures that mimic various animals, gaining their special abilities and gradually becoming stronger. When RED is defeated by a shapeshifter, she will become lost in the forest (poor thing...).

Of course, we're not entirely helpless. RED's crafting book contains instructions for building traps and tower defenses – using the collected materials to build these items and placing them in the scene will allow us to launch a counterattack. Defeating the shapeshifters will give RED a flash of insight, helping her recall more about the exit path (it seems she can escape faster now!).
