Lieux d’initiation

"Lieux d’initiation" (Places of Initiation) is a concept I deeply cherish. It symbolizes a space capable of transforming into anything—a node where change originates. In school, I become a student; on the way home, I shift into the child my parents expect. In the same way, symbols in the hands of a creator are translated into entirely new concepts.

Therefore, I deconstructed the gun into a pure relationship of connection—a "con-structure." Much like the guidelines used in figure drawing, I rebuilt it into a logical structural assembly. Utilizing laser cutting and the transparency of acrylic, I created a layered visual effect suspended between the physical and the virtual, allowing the object to drift between reality and fiction.

Shapes, cuts, reflections, and structures interact within the space, projecting the presence of a gun that exists somewhere between the real and the illusory.
