Caught in Motion: Exploring Reactive Body Movement

People adopt different postures and movements when attempting to catch something—each form shaped by instinct, context, and reaction. Through our study using body tracking, we set out to explore how the body truly responds in the act of catching. What happens in that moment when something is thrown at us? In real time, we can observe how various factors—such as speed, direction, and anticipation—influence our body’s response and movement.
