Before Symposium

This is a term-long project about psychology: what is a “self”, and what’s the relationship between imagination and reality? Is “conversation” between 2 characters really a conversation, or rather a soliloquy of the artist? Am I truly experiencing the world, or am I only pretending—curling up in my mind and observing from a distance? Course: Intro Psych: Imagining Self Instructor: Gershom Spruijt
Learning Outcomes:
Through this self-planned project, I have further developed my drawing skills, storytelling, time management, pacing, and writing techniques. I have also gained a deeper understanding of my own psychology, the way I observe, think, and interpret the world.
