A young, aspiring supermodel slowly loses sanity; seeing apparitions of the "Seven deadly sins" everywhere, who can persuade her actions unconscientiously. Normally she wouldn't act like this, but we'd do anything to get to the top, right?
This was done in a Visual development class, so the design process started from the bottom up. I began with ideation for the story, and worked more heavily on a recognizable style and visual shape language to make the concept and aesthetic of the story more apparent. The style was inspired by illustrators Jason Brooks and Satoshi Matsuzawa.
I had a short turnaround to create this story by myself, so I spent too much done worrying about making sure the concept came across clearly, that I ran out of time to really design the characters and clothing in the story. If I redid the story, I would start with designing the characters first, and worry about the style later.
