An Avocado's Journey

As someone who enjoys avocados and watching plants grow, I wanted to create a light-hearted motion graphics piece showing a fun interpretation of an avocado's life cycle. I created simple illustrations in illustrator with a limited color palette that feels warm and friendly, and used them as the base of my animation.
Learning Outcomes:
From this project I learned that motion design does not have to tell a story step by step in full detail. Instead you can create independent moments and find interesting ways to transition between them and lead the viewer. It is also extremely important to consider timing, gesture, and energy.
