Artifex

A font inspired by hand craft that combines characteristics of different hand tools. The subtle angled stress of a calligraphic nib and the terminal flares that come from chiseled stone are two defining characteristics of Artifex. The influence of the hand combined with the bold weight and tall x-height give the font a warm human expression. Its characteristics are subtle enough to be used in a range of applications, but shines as larger display text.
