Elderly Abuse is actually a social issue that has been happening all along. Especially in nursing homes, the verbal and even physical abuse of the elderly by caregivers is often covered up because of the intimidation of the elderly or the inability of some elderly people themselves to communicate their feelings, they keep everything "inside". Broken elderly glasses, I think, are an important item to express elderly abuse. I put them in a metal box and sealed the outside with tape.
