I am an LA-based Illustrator and Designer specializing in background painting and children's book illustration. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where I developed a love for nature, science, and our environment before moving to Southern California ten years ago. I have a previous career in graphic design, branding and UI/UX design, and came to ArtCenter to learn how to communicate stories and concepts through illustration. I hope to combine the technical skills I've learned at ArtCenter with my background in design and leadership to work collaboratively on animated and illustrated stories for young audiences.
