Hello! I'm Michelle,

I am an LA-based, Malaysian-Chinese artist, and I'm most interested in visual development, creature design, and game development. I love capturing drama, story, and emotion using bold colors and light. My passion for ecology and nature drives me to tell stories using animal characters, and fuels my interest in creature design. I love researching animal anatomy and designing fantasy creatures.

Dragons are my all time favorite subject to paint, and I'm also a big dinosaur nerd! (Ask me about my favorite dinosaur) My hobbies include clay modeling, needle felting, participating in Game Jams, and taking care of my pet lizard :)

I thrive in a team environment, and love working on group projects, game jams, with other passionate people across different disciplines in the pipeline. I am a strong communicator and enjoy problem solving and coming up with creative solutions, especially on projects with humor involved!
