Hello! my name is Sophia Ni. I am a visual development artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles.
I love exploring storytelling through art and design. It is so inspiring how visuals, colors, and characters can speak when words can’t. For me, it is important to create work that while deceptively simple, is packed with complexities and difficulties to immerse the audience.
I’m constantly inspired by all facets of life, using collage, paint, modeling, and other mediums to explore storytelling. Storytelling is about connection: finding the thread that ties imagination to emotion and I am always experimenting to see how my stories can better be understood.
